Kim Delaney (born Kim Delaney) is an American actor who is best well-known for her character of detective Diane Russell in ABCs NYPD Blue and for which she was awarded the Emmy Award. Her most well-known role is her performance in All My Children Philly CSI: Miami, Army Wives. Delaney was the sole daughter of the United Auto Workers executive and his wife, a household worker. Her childhood was spent in a home which included four brothers. She envisioned becoming a court reporter in the early years of her life, however she began modelling in high school and eventually gaining commercials when she moved into New York. Her first role as an actor was as a teenager as a child in All My Children, a soap-opera from 1981. Delaney was in numerous of films, television movies as well as dramas in the years since. Delaney has not lived a good or satisfying personal life. This actress who's gifted and stunning, has had to battle addiction to alcohol prior to that. Her marriages have also ended in failure twice. In 2005, the actress lost custody over her only son.
