Kim Delaney has won Emmy Awards for her performance as the character Detective Diane Russell. She is best known for her part on All My Children Philly CSI: Miami, Army Wives. Delaney was the only daughter of a United Auto Workers executive and his wife, who was a domestic worker. Her childhood was spent within a household with four other brothers. While she was a small girl, Delaney wanted to be a court-reporter. However, in high school the time came when she began modeling commercials, she moved to New York. Delaney was portrayed as a young innocent in 1981's soap opera All My Children. Delaney has appeared in a variety of films, television movies and dramas after that. The professional life she has had is better than her personal life. She has been in the past accomplished actress battled addiction to alcohol, and was married twice only to fail. In 2005 she lost the custody of her only son.
